The city of Hays is working to become a bike-friendly city with the implementation of bike lanes. I was asked to create a spec ad for our website to sell. The ad now appears on our sports page and links to bikehays.com.

The bike tire and street I found on Thinkstock. The street is actually part of a larger image with a field and sky in the background, but all I needed was the curb and street. It’s just a simple animated GIF created in Photoshop, but I’m pleased with how it turned out.

This ad won third place in the Best Online Ad category in the 2016 Kansas Press Association Awards of Excellence.
