Taking you to a place and time
One of my journalism teachers once told me that my writing gives the reader the feeling they are in the place and time I am writing about.
While my career has been about using words to capture a moment, I am now turning to do the same in images. Many of us fail to appreciate where and when we truly are. My work invites people to look more closely at the world around them. Perhaps growing up on the Kansas plains taught me to look for the small details, for that’s where the real beauty lies in the wide open prairies and sky.
Through the lens, I aim to find a perspective that is as unique as my name in hopes that you will take time to see the beauty in the details.
