Walking bridge at sunset

This park near my home in Ellis, Kansas, was always a great place to capture sunrise and sunset reflected on the water of Big Creek, a favorite recreation site for the locals. Unfortunately, the bridge, built a century ago, recently collapsed. I have a lot of great memories of walking my dogs across that bridge and letting them play in the water.

Fair New Mexico

I will always love Kansas skies, but the Land of Enchantment also provides some beautiful sunsets once in a while. Taken at Roswell, New Mexico. Notice in the center of the horizon, you can see Capitan Mountain in the Lincoln National Forest.

Mogollon Snowstorm

The Mogollon Mountains are a range within the Gila National Forest in Grant and Catron counties of New Mexico. A March snowstorm leaves behind a dusting of snow, as seen from near Mule Creek and Buckhorn, NM.
