Iris after rain
In Kansas, I had a home with a large bed of irises of all colors. I loved to photograph them in all kinds of light. The yellow ones especially looked intriguing in this light after a thunderstorm.
Favorite things
Can you tell that drops of water and flowers are among my favorite subjects? These roses at my old home in Kansas smelled as wonderful as they look.
Trio
Coneflowers are among my favorites, and the middle one in particular caught my eye as a near-perfect bloom at the Silva Creek Botanical Gardens in Silver City, New Mexico.
